About Our Name

The word ‘Camelot’ symbolizes equality and chivalry. According to legend, King Arthur was never alienated by his knights at that round table. It was also at this Round Table that King Arthur and his knights of the Round Table developed the original chivalric code of conduct: courage, loyalty, and self-control, loyalty to the sovereign, humility to the weak, alms to the poor, and courtesy to women. Later generations called this code of conduct chivalry spirit, and Camelot Castle was the cradle of chivalry.
